HEBREW MONTH – TEVET DECEMBER 21 – JANUARY 18 2026
When we align in time with God’s prophetic calendar, we discover how to find our position of triumph in our everyday life.
The early church used this calendar, but in the dark ages it got switched. Under pressure from the Roman government, the church began to use the Roman calendar. Following the Hebrew calendar causes us to be in step with His timing. It helps us be at the right place at the right time, thinking right.
Almost every month is considered a “gate.” Tevet is the “take charge” gate.
*It’s the month of choices. We choose to announce our victorious future rather than rehearse failures and unbelief and all the stuff that either did or did not happen in 2025.
Tevet is a supernatural month in which things just come into view. There are “aha” moments when vision clears up. We get victory over our history, forgive ourselves and others in a nano second. A new order of blessing comes to confusion and chaos.
We have represented Tevet with a peacock feather. There is an “eye” pattern on the feather.
Spiritual dynamics of Tevet/peacock feather: Vision-Awareness-Glory-Joy
• I see what I could not see.
• My future is bright.
• Don’t mess with me.
• I carry the Hope of Glory.
There’s always a solution in you. You carry the weight of a bright future. God is bringing you into the perfection of His will and the strength of His council.
• Peacocks are associated with a shout of triumph and joy.
• A peacock can eat a poisonous snake or plant and not be harmed.
• Natives believed a peacock feather in their headdress meant they had the power to overcome. It was protection from anything negative and destructive.
II Corinthians 4:18 sums up this season of time. “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”
Life experiences can program our behavior with stress and trauma. With that we can’t see clearly…
The enemy is pretty predictable – he’ll say this new year will be no different, in fact it may be worse. The voice of truth trumps the lies of the devil. Jesus gave us power and authority.
