HEBREW MONTH OF SIVAN MAY 17 – JUNE 15 2026

05.13.26 | by Sandy Newman & DeeAnn Ward

Sivan is the 3rd of the 12 months of the Hebrew calendar.
    • It is the month of Pentecost.
    • It is associated with the tribe of Zebulun.
    • It is the month of the 2 tablets of the law that were given at Mt Sinai.

Let’s break that down so we can get our faith on this season we have entered.
    • The number 3 means whole, complete, perfect. It’s a divine stamp of fulfillment on an event or an issue.
    • Pentecost is a time of celebrating God’s physical provision, God’s provision of revelation, God’s provision of the Holy Spirit.
    • Zebulun was the wealth tribe.
    • Tablets of the law given which included how to live free.

Sivan is the gate of abundance. Abundance from the Bible is acknowledged to be a blessing from God. Limiting beliefs guard that gate and keep it closed off to you and I. Western mindsets have complicated our journey and have led us to “just enough thinking” and not God’s “more than enough thinking.”

The media, fear-based news, out of date ideas and a religious spirit make up an invisible enemy that builds the case for a poverty mentality.

We do not accept scarcity and struggle.
We are not locked up in a belief system doomed for failure.
We are loosed into the unlimited ability of God overcoming every limitation and opening the gate of abundance.

    That abundance includes three areas.
God’s physical provision: the wheat harvest.
God’s provision of revelation: the giving of the Torah.
God’s provision of revelation: the written Word of God, the Holy Bible.
God’s provision of the Holy Spirit: Pentecost.

Sivan is the 3rd month. The 3rd letter of the Hebrew alphabet is Gimal. Gimal in ancient Hebrew means a camel.

A camel is a beast of burden. It survives the worst desert condition. It doesn’t require much food or water.

Check out this phrase – “the camels are coming.” Camels were a source of wealth for the ancient patriarchs. The wealthy had many camels to carry supplies, food and necessities.

Isaiah 60:6: “A stream of camels will come upon you bringing gold and frankincense and they will proclaim the praises of the Lord.”

    THOUGHTS THAT SHIFT:
    • I have the power to create.
    • I break assignments of poverty against my life and family.
    • I shift any poverty mindset to increase and multiplication.
    • I live in expectation of great things.
    • I ground myself in truth not circumstances.
    • I am free from worry, fear and stress.
    • My camels are coming.

DeeAnn and I bless you and honor you. Many give online or by check each month. Many pray daily for us and what God is building in this entire region. We can’t thank you enough. Please never consider your gifts too small. Remember the widow’s mite and what Jesus had to say about that. Our Camels Are Coming!
