HEBREW MONTH OF NISSAN APRIL 2 - MAY 1 2022

04.02.22 | by Sandy Newman & DeeAnn Ward

If you are carrying a big load of stuff today...consider this.

One day an ant was carrying a stick that was a big burden for him. The ant came to a crack in the ground, which was too wide for him to cross. He stood for a time, as though pondering the situation. Then the ant put the big stick across the crack and walked over it. The burden became the bridge!

Everything is "workoutable." That's probably not a real word, but the concept is real for us as we cross-over at pass-over.

We are quickly approaching Passover, a time where we commemorate God's intervention in the lives of the Israelites. In the beginning of Exodus we find a nation in the midst of awful bondage. This enslaved people were oppressed under cruel taskmasters who forced them to work endlessly. The purpose of Pharaoh was to crush Israel's spirit through hard labor. They were mocked for crying out to their God and nothing was happening...until God intervened and turned the course of events. They cross-over the huge "crack" of captivity. Passover is a memorial to Israel's deliverance from Egypt.

Most importantly, Passover is a remembering of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. There was a huge chasm that separated man from God and Jesus laid His body across that chasm in order for you and I to walk across into life everlasting.

As we enter this Passover season, know that you are at the beginning of divine intervention from the Lord.

    * I am set apart for the Lord and He hears me when I call. Psalm 4:3
    * God will intervene in my behalf.
    * God will judge righteously in my situation.
    * Suddenly things will shift.

This is the season of time that we are expecting redemption, the beginning of miracles and faith that overcomes the world.

This is a season that all things work together for GOOD.

It is all workoutable!! In fact, it was all worked out before the foundations of the world.

As time went on from that "before" heaven didn't worry about a thing.

We've all carried heavy burdens. Some weights have caused our faith to falter at times. Am I going to make it? Does God answer prayer? Can I walk in victory? If your answer to those questions is not yes, yes and yes, then check this out and dare to believe.

I Corinthians 10:13: "No temptation has overtaken you but what is common to mankind. And God is faithful, He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it."

Nissan is the month we remember that God "worked it out" before time, so we can "work it out" in time.

    It really is workoutable.

DeeAnn and I want to express our gratefulness for your friendship, your intercession, your encouragement and your generous giving. Some of you give on a monthly basis and that is so helpful as we move forward.

Everything that can be shaken is being shaken. Hang on--God is faithful to provide a way out.

    Burdens Become Bridges.
